CROSSMARK is one of the largest and most respected food brokers in the industry, providing sales, merchandising, marketing, consulting and outsourced management services to the business community. Headquartered in Plano, Texas, CROSSMARK employs over 9,000 associates in 50 offices through the United States and Canada. The CROSSMARK partnership will provide new opportunities for package goods manufacturer participation, extending Children's Miracle Network's window of awareness in some 40,000 grocery, drug, mass merchandising and c-stores across North America.
CROSSMARK has pledged to raise funds for Children's Miracle Network hospitals through various grass roots fund raising and business-to-business programs. Support will come from three areas:
1. "Co-Marketing for Kids" CROSSMARK regional offices will work with local retail accounts to develop and execute themed merchandising events with participation from CROSSMARK's manufacturer partners throughout 2008-9. All classes of trade will be tapped for participation. CROSSMARK has relationships with more than 900 package goods companies and is responsible for growing the brands they represent in the supermarket, mass/club, drug, C-store and specialty trade channels.
2. "Associates for Kids" CROSSMARK will continue to offer employees an opportunity to contribute to their Children's Miracle Network hospitals through a payroll deduction program. Funds from this program will be disbursed annually. 3. "Events for Kids" CROSSMARK will challenge their division offices to work directly with hospital markets to develop and execute local fund raising. Each division will identify a key contact "Miracle Maker."
