In 2008, RE/MAX generated approximately $8 million for Children’s Miracle Network internationally. In the United States, giving remained extremely strong despite the challenges facing the real estate market. In Canada, RE/MAX continued to make a significant impact in raising funds and awareness for Children’s Miracle Network by increasing their financial contribution by more than 14 percent to an impressive $4 million! All three regions in Canada helped achieve this amazing result, each generating more than $1 million through their support of the Miracle Home program, Provincial Home Lottery in Quebec, and outstanding community-based events across the country. Meanwhile, in Ireland, RE/MAX provided critical underwriting funds for the first Radiothon conducted in the country, which opened many doors to further expansion opportunities.
