The Susser family opened up their first gas station in 1938. To date, the Susser Holdings Corporation has flourished to become the largest non-refiner fuel distributor in Texas. Jerry and Sam Susser joined Susser Petroleum Company in the 1960's. Together they invented the first system that allowed customers to purchase gasoline with a credit card from unattended stations.
Today they are known as Stripes® Convenience Stores. Stripes are a group of over 500 convenience stores and petroleum retailers in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Stripes are a team that is committed to providing fast, friendly service to every one of their wholesale fuel and convenience store customers.
Stripes have been a long-term friend and supporter of Children’s Miracle Network.
