Ambassadors for Children's Hospitals

Foresters Champions Across America and Champions Across Canada are Children's Miracle Network programs that honor remarkable children who have triumphed despite severe medical challenges. For their courage, tenacity and perseverance, the children on these pages have been selected as ambassadors for the 17 million kids treated each year at Children's Miracle Network children's hospitals.

Spreading the Word: A Child From Every State and Province
At the invitation of The White House and Parliament Hill, these young ambassadors will travel to Washington, DC and Ottawa March 21-23 to share the message that their lives-and the lives of millions of children just like them-are better because of the tremendous work of children's hospitals. They will also spread the word by participating in the national television production of the Children's Miracle Network Celebration at Walt Disney World.

Children's Miracle Network: The Finest Care for Kids
The very fact that these children are here to represent their state in this national program is a testament to the importance of children's hospitals. With the help of their Children's Miracle Network hospitals, a toddler survived a deadly poisoning accident; a preschooler is overcoming the daily challenges of muscular dystrophy; and twin brothers who were born at just one pound each are thriving. From pediatric cancer treatment and intensive care to walk-in clinics and child safety programs, these children's hospitals provide the specialized care for kids that cannot be found elsewhere.
